Northwest Assistance Ministries of Houston Recognized for Making a Difference With a Variety of Community Services
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado, April 25, 2005 – IntelliClear today announced the selection of Houston-based Northwest Assistance Ministries as the 2004 recipient of its annual Clarity Trust donation. Under the yearly program, IntelliClear contributes 1% of its corporate profits to an outstanding non-profit, charitable organization as part of an on-going corporate commitment to supporting communities across the globe.
“We had a remarkable first year of business and it’s a privilege to have the opportunity to recognize the tireless efforts of Northwest Assistance Ministries (NAM) in serving the needy of its community,” says Eric Shuster, President and CEO of IntelliClear. “We believe if every corporation, large and small, stepped up to making a modest contribution of 1% of its corporate profits, collectively we could make a real difference in the lives of people all over the world.”
The idea of corporate contributions is not new, but the concept of a formal program of contributing 1% of corporate profits is a concept recently embodied in the Salesforce.com foundation (www.salesforce.com/foundation). “IntelliClear joins Salesforce.com, and encourages other corporations as well, to make and keep such charitable covenants to the global community,” says Shuster.
“Our organization could not do the work we do without the support of countless individuals and organizations who give freely of their time and money in the service of others,” says Carole Little, Executive Director of NAM. “The Clarity Trust donation from IntelliClear is much appreciated and provides a positive framework for companies of all sizes in helping communities help themselves.”
2004 was the first fiscal year for IntelliClear who recently expanded its corporate presence to Colorado Springs. Clarity Trust candidates are considered based upon the services rendered by the organization during the calendar year, as well as the historical reputation of the organization.
